This AM, about 02 I couldn't sleep so I decided to "check things out " Somewhere ?? I read a post about which scope for an M1A and possible place to locate one.
Now I can't seam to find it. I've done the search for M-14 & M1A, add scope to the search title and about 15 pages show up. I've got a friend that isn't in love with his so I thought I'd pass the info along

Try the search engine listed in my sig line below which will get you into the Hide search engine for the new vB setup with Google. It can sometimes help with getting you the results you'd more prefer than the search or advanced search that uses the forum software.

However...with that said...what you are looking for is a VERY broad topic and has been covered so many times in the past (both quality mounting solutions, as well as optics themselves) that I can only imagine your frustration at finding "THE ONE" thread you happened upon. Best advice is to start reading again or provide your friend with a link to the aforementioned search engine and tell him to start absorbing info like a sponge! ;)

Off hand though...is it this one by chance: http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-rifle-scopes/195074-help-me-scope-my-m1a.html

Any way about it...GOOD LUCK!

ORD,
Thank you,
The post I'm looking for had only 4 or 5 replies
Thank you, tomorrow calls for rain, so I'll do more searching

Check out Leatherwood ART II, I've had one for years now and couldn't be happier with it. They are a little spendy now and can be hard to find but they work and are Repeatable, Period. There is also a guy back in the midwest that can rebuild them if needed.
