Yea they are a bit heavy, but I have a few other vortex and really like them, I am keeping my eye out for a used USO also

A little SW of Jonesboro, by the town of Egypt, its where was raised. I know some of the farmers so I shoot on the old field roads during the summer, but after they get the rice and beans I can shoot across the fields if I need to.
Nice work were do you shoot in Arkansas?
 
It is the bolt release on the newer savages ,i cant remember where my wife got it. You could maybe google voodoo doll knife holder and possibly find it. I will ask her when she gets home from work.
BTW, great looking rig! What is the lever right in from of the trigger guard?

lol its a pretty cool knife holder, right now I have one of my old vortex scopes on it, I am waitin on the new vortex razor 3-18
