I'm in the process of placing an order now with swfa. I'm ordering a SS 3-15×42 I am unsure if low rings will fit. Does anyone know for sure if this will work with the above equip. My budget is so tight that I will have to use ss or Burris xtr rings. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks Jason.

have a set of he burris xtr rings on a Hawke 6.5-20x42 Sidewinder Tactical 30mm Riflescope, they are nice with recoil notch on the cross bolts , work very well on my sps

What base are you using?
I know the SWFA and xtr low rings will work on EGW and weaver 20 moa bases with your scope leaving plenty of clearance. I say this because they clear with a SWFA 5-20x50.

Well everthing is ordered. everything came out to be $1461.xx thats all new stuff. 700 sps tac, ss 3-15*42, ss rings (low), weaver 20 MOA base, sunshade, bc caps, zero stops and all the taxs on scope and ffl fees. Not to bad but i did go over budget by 61.00. I usually bust the budget for all my projects by far more than that. I was fun trying to stay under a certain amount. Ready to get it all here and start my first build. I will be getting better rings and base. Seekins are the ones im after but thats later. Will post up pics as the goodys arrive. I cant lie though, my ass was puckering when I hit submit on that swfa order. Thats the most exspensive scope I have ever bought. I sure hope its worth it.

I went through Sport Optics (GREAT people) and ended up with a Talley mount and XTR low rings for a Vortex PST 6-24x50 with clearance on a Rem PS-1 (PSS with DBM).
