Tangent Theta Incorporated is pleased to announce that it has purchased the assets, designs and intellectual property of Premier Reticles Ltd. of Winchester Virginia. Premier is well known as one of the top brands among the small group of the world’s extreme performance long range optical sighting systems. As before, the Premier brand will continue to be distributed in North America exclusively by Armament Technology Incorporated and its network of dealers. Service will continue to be provided by the Premier Service Center in Winchester VA.

Tangent Theta Incorporated is a Canadian company wholly owned by Andrew Webber, an accomplished long range competitive marksman and former President of Armament Technology Incorporated. Tangent Theta Incorporated’s modern rifle telescope manufacturing and assembly facility is currently under construction in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada.

Questions regarding distribution may be directed to Armament Technology Incorporated.

It sounds like the new owner is quite familiar with both Premier's products and shooting in general, both good. The new company will not be run by some vast conglomerate that is nameless to its consumers beyond the brand name. I googled Tangent Theta Inc and Andrew Webber and didn't find much, so it sounds like Premier Reticles will be the number one and only product they are focused on.

Is this in fact the case?

I recently moved to using Premier and love the products so far. Having great company behind them is great news.

Tangent Theta Incorporated, if you are paying attention to this thread,

Bring out the 1-8x that never hit the market!
Premier's was my favorite design. Man up, bring it to market.
1 thing, figure out how to independently control red dot in SFP and lit up mil dot in FFP.
NOT THAT AUTO SWITCHING BS PREMIER WAS MESSING with.

Checked out the new Tangent Theta's at SHOT this AM. Didn't take any pics.
Improvements have been made, and I got a really good feeling. Re-zero is truly tool-less now, no filp up levers. There's a finger screw on top of the turrets and the turret no longer clicks when disengaged and zeroing. They said the main tube has been beefed up, no more parallax bind issues.

What was the Light Tactical is now the marksman and the only obvious change was that there are multiple rev indicator windows above the markings.

The overall scope aesthetic is more contemporary and streamlined but they're still the same in overall dimensions.

Looking forward to being able to get a new Tangent Theta, glad the dust has settled.

Same reticles. Gen 2 mildot, Gen 2 XR and an MOA reticle that I didn't see on display.

I'm happy because I still want a Gen 2 XR.
