Your primary goals should be to shoot safely, not screw up on your target pulling and follow directions. Your secondary goals should be to complete the match, have fun and learn stuff. The very last thing you should worry about is placing last; who gives a flip? Everybody started at the bottom; what is important is to learn and improve, and have fun doing it.
When you get to the gate off CR-57, check your ego at that gate, drive in, introduce yourself to the match director and ask for someone to help you, especially if you've never competed before. There will be many competitors who will be happy to help you and answer your questions.
