I got a stripped seekins lower. I have a dpms parts kit. I noticed that the rear take down pin has a different spring setup than a standard milspec lower. Once installed the pin will not move. I believe the spring has not enough room to work. Anyone else have this problem. I figured I would just cut a little off the spring to make it work.

If you read the directions (if bought new) they say how to determine how much to cut off. Can't remember exactly but I've done it. If you don't have the instructions you could pm Glen Seekins and ask. Might take a day or so to hear back from him. You could also just start shortening it little by little until it works.
Yes I did purchase new by there was no . Instruction. That's kinda what I figured would have to be done. Thanks
What I did on two different builds, shorten the spring little by little to sufficiency. Works like a charm.
^^ This will work out for you...go slow and be sure you don't cut too much or you'll be on the hunt for a new spring in a hurry!!
