I'm a left-hand shooter and am considering purchasing a AI rifle (AX .308). Is there any lefties that have shot a right-hand AI rifle that could give me some feed back to pros/cons shooting an AI right hand action? Does AI custom build left-hand actions? I have not seen any for sale.

AI does make rifles in left hand models. They are sorta rare though. And they only made a limited number.

The only left-handed rifles they make for civilians right now are AW 308 models. They are fairly rare-- though Mile High Shooting may have one. Check with Diann.
I am Left handed/left eye dominate and run a RH AIAW! I don't see the issue! Most of the shooting people do will not be unsupported so role with it! They are heavy and do suck shooting LH with a sling but I just suck it up and make due with my "status symbol". It shoots great and I bet you would be super happy with any of them.
And yes I use it in comps and am getting ready to run it in the East coast PRS match. I am not worried one bit about the gun, I just have to do my part.

After running a right hand rifle for a while I won't do it again for comps. It's not a huge killer but not as easy as running a correct handed rifle. For hunting and casual shooting its no biggie. Just my opinion.

I have a left hand AIAW because shooting a right handed rifle didn't work for me. I waited two years to get mine even though a RH version would have been easy to obtain.
