Tons of posts on the new rifles, but has anyone had any time with the new AI bipod yet? I looks nice, but I cant find much on it about function, lock, pan, price? Any posted info would be appreciated.

I got mine from sporting services, will do a better vid when i have the rife and i wont use a phone.
From first impressions it seems to be what i wanted, quick to deploy legs that lock , a very positive swivel lock .
Only thing i would change is to offer some different feet like the old ski ones.

There is always the option of designing one of your own and hitting the free market with it!
I dont know if I would buy this bipod, they are very likely to come out with a quick change leg option next year making this one almost worthless

Does an AW style bipod work?
Does this new one tighten the bipod so the rifle won't flop side to side? If so, how solid is it?
A few other factors to consider, is that $350 MAP include the mounting spigot for the keymod system? or is that an additional cost?
and is the FDE color an additional cost or same price, just user specification?

We do not plan to continue with this bipod and are working on a new one. At this time, we are busy introducing new Rifles and AICS into production and after that we will complete development testing of the new bipod

Shame, I think it's a good bipod so does everyone else I know with one.
I really like the build quality of the atlas but much prefer the functionality of yours. Being able to deploy legs without fiddling with buttons and the quick extending legs are great

How close is the reworked version?
I'd like to know so that I can either buy the Atlas for my incoming AT, or wait a little longer for the AI, thanks.
