Case trimmer.

IMHO a Wilson without the micrometer attachment is all you'll ever need in a hand cranker, add a Sinclair base and Shark Fin attachment and the appropiate fired case holder, I use my digital calipers and measure the adjustment shaft when switching calibers, it may not be exactly perfect every time but its always within a couple thou.

That's the setup I use and it's a great trimmer with easy setup. Only way I would change what I use is if I shot more, then I would go with a Giraud.

Case trimmer.

I bought the Wilson made Sinclair setup with the micrometer. I really like it. The Sinclair base and shark fin make for a nice rig.

I bought mine during one if their sales..

I just placed a order with giraud tool company (great company and very freindly to work with) after using my buddies i fell in love. It does index of the shoulder so you have to make sure you prep properly. I found it to be accurate to.001 -.004 on. 223. I have not tried it out on any other caibers yet

As others have said the Wilson is a great piece of kit, very easy to set up without the micrometer adjustment too. The guys there also give great customer service.

I run a Wilson without the mic, and added the power adapter. I use my drill set to a low RPM and works very well. I can trim 100 308's pretty fast. When I use my Small Based Redding resizer for my semiauto brass, I have a case holder that I trimmed down a little on the lathe. Not as fast as a Giraud, but I have many, many Benjamin's left in my bank account. It works for me, J

I can't recommend the Wilson Sinclair trimmer enough, best trimmer there is to adjust and handle anything

I use my WFT trimmer to trim brass fast. This is great option when trimming brass in small amounts or large amounts.

The Wilson is an excellent trimmer and will trim cases to within .001 consistently. Without a doubt get the Shark Fin attachment since it holds the case holder solidly in the trimmer. I found that the power attachment is not only faster but more accurate as well. The only downside is if you are trimming a large batch of cases since it is somewhat tedious and you have to debur and chamfer the cases. When trimming large amounts of cases nothing beats a Giraud. It trims, chamfers and deburs in one step. Also the Giraud is the best if you turn necks since it indexes off the shoulder which results in uniform neck length which is critical in turning.

I found the Wilson to be perfect...for small volumes. Now I use the CTS Gen 2. Love it. Yes, it's about the same as the Giraud. I can't speak bad about Giraud as I haven't used it but, the CTS seams more compact and the Customer support from Jim is top notch. I believe it was a All in all, I'm in basic agreement with Zia....
