Looking for a new scope for my Mk12ish rifle. I think i wan the Vortex but can't seem to find too much info on them or where to get them. Any reviews would be nice. Also do they come in FFP.

Look in the optics section. Quite a few threads on it. Call Scott at Liberty Optics. Call and talk to him.

If you're military you can call Vortex directly and get a pretty good deal on them too. The 2.5-10x32 is a good scope.

+1 on this very sound advice!! Tons of reviews already floating around on these optics, including on precision ARs and the like. Also, Scott is the MAN for all things Vortex...PERIOD! He'll take excellent care of you, but you may have a bit of a wait depending on which particular flavor 2.5-10x you are after.

That said...the 2.5-10x Viper PST is available in a couple different configurations, including a FFP 2.5-10x32 in both mil/mil and moa/moa versions, as well as the SFP 2.5-10x44 also in mil/mil and moa/moa depending on your preference. I have still not picked up a 2.5-10x32 although I have a place for one on an AR-10 carbine that I've had for some time now. I'll snag one sometime this year. I have run a couple different x44 versions and they are excellent optics that won't break the bank if you are on a tight budget and offer a lot of exceptional features not available on other optics in their price range. Whether or not you really NEED the FFP vs. SFP in a relatively low magnification optic like the ones you are looking at is debatable, but I for one like the option for my own personal preferences. It all comes down to what you want/need though...

Good luck!
