Hi guys,
Just saying hello officially. I joined on 6-21-12 and haven't had to ask any questions yet because the answers are all in here if you look hard enough. Thought I should get my post count up though so people know who they are talking to. This is a great place for information, its been very valuable to me. Thank you all for going out of your way to help and share.
I started shooting a marlin .22 when I was 10 and haven't stopped shooting since. I have one Gen 2 DTA Covert with two barrels, a 308 16' and 338 Norma Magnum 26" topped with a S&B PMII 5x25. Its awesome. The rest of my guns are mostly hunting rifles, shotguns and various pistols/revolvers. I hunt and mostly shoot paper at the public range and shoot sporting clays. I haven't done anything real serious, like sniper competitions or matches of any kind. I just want to be as good as I can so I can make the shot when it matters.

Mostly Tenoroc, its the closest, but if they aren't open Dade city has a nice range with a good crowd. I need to try manatee but its 2 hours away. There used to be a range owned by an old police officer named Bill Whatley north of Haines City that I used to go to but its unfortunately closed.

Got another toy! New 2005 (got a really good deal) Sako 75 varmint .308
Single shot
Bedded laminate stock
9 oz set trigger
23"- ish barrel
1:11 twist
Had a NF 2.5-10x32 on it and just upgraded to a 5-25x56 NF ATACR mil-r
It likes everything i have fed it so far up to 180 gr
Single shot isnt bad. Ive got other guns to shoot fast.
Love it for the money. This scope is very nice.
Installed limbsaver cause the damn pad had 1/8" pins just underneath the surface of the hard recoil pad.
This is my lazy gun. Easy shooter

Yeap ridge shooters association is it. Just did my membership and did an ocw test last Wednesday. I may be back down this weekend just picked up an f1 with h59 reticle and had my Hs precision stock glass beded.
