There are so many forms out there with pen corrections, especially as of late with the examiner's assistants who have definitely gotten pretty picky in no longer allowing things on forms that used to be accepted as standard practice.

I talked to you a couple of days ago, but I just want to be clear that this transaction hasn’t had any errors.* As I mentioned when we talked, our address changed while your paperwork was in progress.* The ATF gave us the option of writing in the new address on the existing forms so they wouldn’t be denied – and that’s what we did.* Once again, the paperwork we sent to the ATF was perfect when it was sent, but our address changed because we moved to a new location.
At the end of the day, the average FFL/SOT has a 15% error rate – meaning that 15% of forms have some correction written on the forms by the FFL when they get approved.* Our error rate is less than 1%; but, there’s nothing we can do about cases like this.
On top of that, the examiners will often make notes on the forms as well, so it’s not possible to have an approval form with nothing written on it.
Hopefully that all makes sense.

Regardless of your other BS they DID in fact move during your wait time. They opened their new shop in June so theyre not lying to you. Dave shoulda told you to take a hike over your pissing and moaning. Efile works fine and takes a little over three months. Have fun waiting over a year for your can just because of some dumbass paperwork problem that you have a proclivity to being a PITA.

The address they put on the form was lined out and they had to Hand Wright it in. *uck That. It looks tacky as shit doing error corrections on official forms. I told him to not even think about sending that out to my house I would return to sender. This is something I am going to have for the rest of my life. I don't need forms that have error corrections on them. He told me when I gave him my forms the address was correct but that during that time they moved. 9.5 months for nothing Really pissed off. I don't really buy the story. Plus I have OCD.


He told me he was going to void it or something and now I have to E-file this time around. I also have to send another $200 but I will get my First $200 back from the ATF. This was my first order from them too. I don't know anything about E-file other then the problems so I am guessing E-file is done on his side and if its not he is going to do it for me because I don't really want any part of it. Paper was fine for me. =(

As a silencer dealer. I find this very funny. My wife says i should wright a book about the dealings with some customers. I find it funny when they out themselves.

I once had a customer wait 11 months for a surefire it was still sealed in box when he picked it up and had a 1/8" very faint scratch when opened. Yep Void and another 9 mo wait. I will do every thing in my power to make the customer happy but i might shake my head a bit at stuff like this.
