Greetings. Newb here with a reloading question. I shoot a bone stock Remington 700 police, chambered in .308, 26" Bull Barrel. Like many others, I am now just getting into reloading.
My question is, should I be overly concerned with neck turning my once fired brass (all fired from my rifle), or should I just size, trim and reload. I plan on loading factory spec ammo until I learn more about ballistics and reloading. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

No need to turn necks for a factory chamber. Neck turning is necessary when you have a custom chamber with tighter than SAAMI spec neck dimensions and you need to uniform your brass thickness at the neck.

No worries.

FL size, and measure the amount of shoulder bump. You'll be fine.

Good advice. ^ Neck turning is for the advanced handloader, one who knows why it's done, and when. BB
