Spending more on my Colt M4.

I am getting a new upper for my Colt M4 and want to save some weight by replacing my scope rings with these without using the riser I have now. Will the scope be at the same hight I have now?

I also plan on adding this Xtreme bubble level to rail under scope eye piece.

The only way to tell for sure is to measure from the top of the rail to the bottom of the scope ring or if the optics are still on your AR you can get pretty close by using a vernier caliper and measure from the rail to the middle of the scope ring. The look up the specs on the news rings you will be using and see what the height is. But they usually give the measurement from the top of the rail to the bottom of the scope ring.

In High Power you can shoot out to 1,000 yds. with iron sights. Scopes not allowed.

I installed the new Nikon rings on my Colt M4. I had to turn the rear one around because the knob for adjusting the zoom would touch the base which would go under it. I also had to remove the rear sight to give the scope clearance.

The scope is a little lower, but after I get used to the height it will be usable. Now I can see the B-Square bubble level better so I won't need to get the Xtreme Level.
