New to this game and don't know all the places to look for reloading parts. Any help would be great. I have 250 pieces of 260 LAPUA brass so that's a start..

Thanks, Slug-O

I am trying to find some 140's myself,I will keep an eye out for some 142's

we have a local shop that has one or two 500 ct boxes of 142gr SMK's. He charges a bit more, but IIRC, his price on those was not that much more than other retailers. I'd be happy to buy them for you (no, not as a gift!) and ship them out your way, all expenses paid on your end, obviously.

While I have this posted, anyone have any luck on any other .260/.243/7mm-08 brass outside of Nosler and Lapua? I have smoked the primer pockets in the majority of my RP brass which shoots really well in my rifle. I WAS going to shoot the Hide Cup, but I just can't afford to shoot/lose Lapua or Nosler...

Cabela's has winchester 243 brass, that's what I'm using for the exact same reason, I'm not going to toss out $250 worth of Lapua brass.

FALex.. Thanks find out how much it is and let me know. 243 brass? Let me ask a friend who hordes his brass. I think he may have some.

You might have ordered them on the day I posted and picked up a box as they had 4 ? Sometimes they do not keep, accurate inventory who knows just trying to hook you up ? Try these sites as they are a great wealth of knowledge and saves you a bunch of surfing!

gunbot.net
ammoseek

That website link you posted is not Powder Valley's real website. It shows all sorts of inaccurate information about availability and price of items. The real powder valley website is: Powder Valley, Inc.

Added: And yes Gunbot.net is a great resource for finding reloading components in-stock.

I like ammoseek better than gunbot! Easier to read ! Any component has probably been on back order or they are sold out within hours if not minutes! I,just ordered some 44 mag bullets off of GB at 30.00 bucks a box of 100 so ya just have to be resourceful and keep on top of retailers and me not having a job helps :) !!

I switched to Berger 140 VLDs... Same powder charge as I used with the 142s, but with better results.

Ran out of the 142's about 4 months ago, been replacing them with the hornady 140, same charge and all, seems to work as good.
Midway had some 140 V max last week.
