Hey guys, I need some Accurate 1680 powder. I cant find it in stock anywere so I am resulting to being a begger. All I want is 1 lb or whatever you can spare, just looking to load up some rounds for my new 300 blkout. If you have some you can share PM me or if your local to Washington state maybe we could figure something out. I got things to trade or $$. Just let me know. Thanks.

Having just built an 8.5" .300 Blackout upper with the idea that I would someday be able to find A1680 and 220 SMKs, I was hoping it wouldn't come to begging! I did find some loaded subsonics from Detroit Ammunition and was able to get decent functioning. You might try that to get you over the hump.

Good luck!

I got a few boxes of factory ammo for it also. I did find some IRM 4227 last night that I plan to try but I know 1680 is the best. Im not sure people are hording anymore, I think something is up with the supply of powder.

In case you are wondering, I didn't have any luck with H335 or H110 in subsonics. I thought, based on the burn rate, they might work, but they didn't. I did load up some 110-grain bullets with H110 and that's kinda fun in the meantime.

My experience: AA1680 worked well in my 300BLK gas gun, but not so well in my bolt gun.

Ya I plan to use my IMR 4227 for suppers for now. I got 2 boxes of the Hornaday 208 amax subsonics but they dont seem to be subsonic out of my gun. Loud even with my can on. Anyway... ill get it tuned up soon.

Mav,

Check out gunbot.net. If your browser does not have a find/search function, press ctrl f. A find box should pop up and then under reloading, search for 1680 under powder. I just ordered A1680. Finding that powder is almost as rare as finding H4350, H4895 and 22LR ammo. Good luck!

Just saw some at my local Sportsman's Warehouse the other day, so possibly some is coming available, I just about fell over when I saw it, H1000, and Retumbo all on the shelf there.

Wish I would have read this earlier. They had some at Sportsmans Warehouse in Federal Way on Friday. Guessing it's gone now though.

Thanks guys, Ill keep my eyes open, I would rather not pay over $50 a pound for it but ill keep checking. Oh and I do have LOTS of H4350 and H1000 to trade if anyone is interested.
