Del-Ton mid length kit

Yeah, my buddy built one on a PSA lower. Came out pretty nice, no function issues, even with steel ammo et cetera. If you want a cheap plinking AR, it should be good. Action wasn't as smooth as my Colt.

Link to the sale item?

I ordered one right at the very beginning of the 'great panic'...it showed up about 6 months later.

I ended up selling mine for a slight profit, but I was pleased with it and would definitely buy one again...only thing is PSA provides similar value, IF you can handle the lead time to shipping.

I bought one about 4 years ago. I built it on a Spikes lower and dropped in a Geissele trigger.

I have around 2000 rounds through it and I have never had any issues with it. I have not run any steel ammo through it so I cannot comment on that.

I would not hesitate to recommend one to you or anybody else for that matter. I would buy one again.

I have a complete 20" del ton heavy bbl AR. I had read some reviews stating del ton's are cheap AR's, etc...I have never had a single issue with mine and can say that for the price I paid, I couldn't be happier with the rifle.

I think some of these "reviews" come from people who have the, "if it ain't Colt, it ain't shit" mentality. Chances are, you will pay a nice low price for the rifle you're looking at. If that's the case, do it and don't look back. Do your own review, I bet you'll love that rifle.

And yes, I do own a JP LRP 07, so I have the ability to recognize quality too ;)

I bought the 18" middy 1:7 chrome lined Delton kits a while back. It is currently matched up with a Stag lower and wears an MOE hand guard. I was a little put off by the low price, but it has proven to be a nice shooter. The trigger group sent with the rifle yielded a 9.5# pull, so that got swapped out after the first range trip. I probably have close to 2,500 rounds through this tube, and its a legitimate 1.5MOA rifle with handloads.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the kit again if I was looking for an inexpensive carbine to put together.
