Hello
I have a savage model 10 flcp-k rifle in .308. It is a short action rifle with the fluted bull barrel. Round top action.
I am planning to buy a swfa 3-15x42 scope with the butler creek flip open lens caps.
I believe the center of scope to rifle is 1.102
I am looking to mount this scope with the one piece DNZ scope mount stock # dnz34200t medium or dnz36200t high. Not sure what hight I need.
Another option is the talley lightweight aluminum one piece mount. not sure what hight i would need or if I would need the extended mount.
What do you recomend?
Thanks
Clint

first off what is the purpose of this setup.. is it gonna strictly be a hunting setup or do you want to get into long range shooting?

i just ordered a medium dnz for my tikka with a 3-9x40 and was told there is only a 1/8" difference between low and high.....so they recommended the medium..

on another note have you considered the traditional base and rings...I have the same scope on a savage and went with a 20moa egw base and seekins low rings,, imho a very nice setup...if your gonna do long range ditch the one piece mount and go with a separate one piece base and rings and you will have much more adjustability

Hi
I would like to get into long-range shooting. I though that a one piece set up would be more rigid. I would like to be able to get a 20 MOA base.

Look into the seekins rings and bases very high quality....only reason I didn't get the seekins base was availability at the time..warning this stuff is addicting...
