I don't know of all the matches out there. But would you guys turn me onto a match that would fit?
Just looking for a match out to 5-600 yards we could shoot in? One that range finders are legal, and pink guns. Just want
To use as a learning fun weekend? And see how we do? I live in York Pa and would drive up to 4-5 hours... Oh and my squirt will be 9!

Mifflin County has "ground hog" matches that are out to 500 yards. I don't know much about them but plan on trying them this year.

Take a look at Rayners range in Blue Rock, Ohio.

They have a long range match every month, everyone is very helpful and easy going. You can shoot it either Saturday or Sunday. You can either shoot prone or off of their benches. It is a steel shoot and the longer targets are up to 1000 but most are within 600. They will be very welcoming of youth shooters.

You're right in the middle of the Mason Dixon sniper series, we shoot at the Mayberry Game Protective Association in Westminster Md and the New Holland Rifle and Pistol club in Gap Pa. Both ranges are 600 yards and we get a good mix of first time shooters and experienced shooters who are always willing to give out pointers. We have five series matches planned for this summer, starting in April, plus several other non series matches through out the year.
