MRAD means milradians or mils. MH means Mil-hash. A Mil-hash reticle is a type of MRAD reticle. Look online to see which reticle is offered for any scope you are interested in. I happen to like the mil-hash reticle in the Sightron SIII.
Not everybody needs zero-stop. Those that shoot practical/tactical matches like it for the speed with which they can see where they are for quick timed shots at various ranges.

So I take it that MH being hash that the vortex looks like hash marks. Is there a picture of the Sightron SIII 6-24X50 LR FFP MH reticle for comparison?

Note that all the dotted lines, letters, arrows, etc. are an illustration as used in the instruction manual, so that you know what each delineation means on your reticle. The actual reticle is much less cluttered and looks more like this except that the center dot is not red and is smaller:
