Hi all-

I have a DPMS .308 with a 13" Troy rail, and am planning on buying a Weaver Grand Slam Tactical 3-10x 40mm from MidwayUsa. I'm pretty new to optics, so I'm looking on a recommendation on a scope mount that will work well for that scope, but isn't too expensive. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Thanks-

Chris

Burris PEPR

+1 I have a few of them on various AR's and like the fixed PEPR over the QD. When torqued properly they do not mar he rails or scope. I have never had one cause a problem. They can be had for less about $80 or less if you look around.

SWFA also has their S.S.A.L.T., which is very similar to the Burris PEPR but i think a little cheaper. Unlike the Burris which includes railed and smooth top rings, the swfa can be purchased separately, individually and/or canted rail. They also include 1" inserts.
