I have some sympathy for the people wanting to get here. I don't want them here, but if I was in their shoes you can bet your ass I would be trying to get here.
That said, we CAN stop them at the border. Then it's Mexico's problem. I get that every news station in the world will be televising the camps 24/7 but who fucking cares. We're always the bad guy anyway. When Mexico has to feed, shelter and then deport these people back to their countries they'll stop letting them come through.

Drop pamphlets advising them of their impending doom. Meet the caravan with 2 rows of Bradley’s. One row facing south. The other facing north. Anyone crossing the border gets smoked. Anyone interfering with the protection of the border gets smoked.

For an approach that somebody would actually take:
Arrest the ring leaders and make sure they never see the light of day, a nice stint in a Cuban Resort we run would be perfect.
Arrest those providing financing and treat them the same as above.
Cut off all foreign aid to their countries of origin
Cut off all visas and deny entry to all parties from their countries of origin till the countries agree to not help violate our laws.
Cut off al financial transfers to their countries of origin till they take back their citizens.
Tell Mexico that if they willingly let them into their country to travel through to our border, we will cut off all financial transfers from any private citizens to their country as well as corporate transactions till they have paid us for the cost of any of them we have to deal with.
Any that make it to our country should be immediately rounded up, loaded into cargo aircraft with rugged landing capability and flown back to their country with fighter & bomber escorts and landed on any field we see fit to drop them off at and tell their countries if they try anything we bomb their capabilities till they wish they had shut the fuck up and taken it.

Yeah, when I worked at Maple Leaf in Brandon Mb. they were constantly importing large groups from a number of different countries. All because nobody wanted to do their stupid job. They (the management) had taken ALL of the humanity out of the job, and made it as ridiculously menial as possible.
Nobody wanted to work there, in practically any position. They learned to 'force the people to work' OR their other choice was to be shipped back to their original country. So, I'll give the company credit for doing the "proper immigration" process. But that too was a learning curve and there are now "other gangs from other places" around too. Do The Math.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t gotten intel on this dude and taken him out, specifically the countries he has screwed over. It really does baffle me how he is still around. Makes one wonder if the powers that be want him around because let’s be honest here, if some of these countries, including the US, wanted him gone, he’d be gone ina few hours. So...any ideas on why he is still around?

Its never going to stop if they have a reason to want to be here. Wont matter if we build a wall they will find a way. Turn off all services- no ER visits or medical care, no social services, prosecute the hell out of anyone who employs them- i.e. kill the desire to be here. Drop mass leaflets on Mexico, Guatemal, Honduras, etc explaining anyone attempting to cross the border will be shot. The international outrage will be deafening to the point everyone in the 3rd world will hear about it. Then thats really it.
Probably only have to shoot a few people trying to cross the border- again the outrage will be global and no one will want to risk that to be here when there is nothing for them. Hell of a lot more effective than a wall, a fuck ton cheaper, and honestly shooting a handful of them saves a lot of lives compared to how many die trying to cross. Problem solved.
