While Ill grant you that 90% (or more) of beliefs are conditioning, its not always true. I have had a lot of opinions, or beliefs, concerning deity. At this point all I can say is that "I know" that there is something outside of myself, and I can say that as knowledge, and not belief, because I have, on rare occasion, seen it work in both physical and ethereal reality. To put a name on it, or try to define it, would be the height of arrogance. I dont try to project it to anyone else. I just know.

Where tribal culture is passed down in lifestyle, education, and success rates..
Where one can be taken from that environment and placed in a military experience, and conditioned, placed in a slave labor camp and conditioned, or put in a prison environment and be conditioned, those last three dependent on assimilation to survive, yet the survivors retain their cultural beliefs ?
That a person can be subjected to the cruelest torture and degradation and do horrible or very base things to survive, yet never lose sight of "the good". The belief sustains them through unbelievable conditions and "conditioning" that cannot shake their beliefs.
A case in point, my mixed race vietnamese friend who from 5 years old, survived being orphaned, sent to a re-education camp where the communist tried to kill him, starved and work to death. And who in his 30's escaped. His beliefs are not from 25 years of that hell on earth, but from something else. His beliefs are written in a very old book.
I personally believe it a bit more than conditioning, involving a matter of personal choice.

But you only look at conditioning as a negative, with negative consequences. Where conditioning can also be positive and help lead you to truth.
But this can only happen if you have a glimpse at the opposition or the alternate.
In other words if you are not exposed to the alternates at any point in time, then there is no awareness to their existence. And all you would know as truth/belief would be what you were afforded.

Only listed the negative to point out, something instilled a value/belief that allowed the actor to survive the negative I listed.
With the thought in mind, that whatever good was inside, in a short timeline, over rode the longer negative influence.
What method, or manner created this belief that was so deeply instilled that it beat the horrendous long term thing.
Case in point, the pilots who survived the Hanoi Hilton, mentally intact.
Something in them, a belief, along with a short military training/conditioning, allowed them to stay the course, and retain their beliefs.
And while not over emphasizing the negatives, only within conflict, do we find the strength of our belief, the good on it, and the positives.
As in, a challenge, in mentally stable, grounded people, promotes growth.
Something that let's many succeed in life and career.

I have seven years experience working in an alcohol/drug rehab program and the continuing education required.
And, I find your response, extremely close to my experience, viewing many of those we tried to repurpose, significantly hopeless, and shallow, unable to find depth that gave them a foundation.
Cruelly put, losers and oxygen thieves, who had no business having children, much less subjecting those children to "fucking doctors" and the drugs.
Those people are the lemmings who will follow any belief, party, or leader who feeds their pleasures, giving them the easy ride.
They cannot handle conflict and are blown whichever way the wind blows them. They cannot handle responsibility or nurture their children to be better than them.
They scare me. I cannot see me surviving a world they control.
I left that program questioning my sanity, and for a period, wondered if I could find my sane normal I started with b4 working with that program.
The program was behaviour modification to try to get those people back on track, to accept personal responsibility.
There were successes, but, many more were failures.
For much of that I have no answer acceptable on many boards, and on this one. It is my strongly held belief, that crushing the oldest known written belief system, has lead to the destruction of many of those people you and I are speaking of.
They have no foundation, no anchor, and no depth. And no appreciation of greater love has no one who is willing to lay down their life for another.
And that tenet of belief has allowed many to survive all manner of lifes twists and turns. They do not possess it.

i grew up catholic, and while i have never received the gift of faith and don't consider myself "religious", i still value the sanctuary it can offer.
they say the roots of faith grow quickly in rocky soil, imho meaning people are more likely to accept god when times are tough and they need something to give them hope and direction. sadly, progressives would deny them even that sliver of hope for salvation.
When a person..... believes the world revolves around them, that they are the most important being, that others should provide them with their wants, desires, pleasures, and get used to having it, .....
When what previously filled that need fails, they turn to things to dull the pain, or provide the missing pleasure. Thus, an addiction to an addictive personality that is highly narcissistic.
Anything that strokes their ego is fair play.
Children are a nuisance and hindrance to their freedom to indulge.
Some do multiple abortions to silence the child.
Some murder the child. Some neglect the living child, leaving an empty shell unfilled. Some drug the child because drugs work for them, aha, will work on the child. And subdue child so the free indulgence can continue.
Politicians that stroke their egos and promise unfettered pleasure guarantee their vote.
People who deny their pleasures receive full brunt of their anger.
A system that denies their pleasures stokes their angers individually and group plurally, and many of them join together in mutual anger and mutual ego stroking, and the problems they cause multiply exponentially.
The prisons are full of such people as are the streets, one having committed a criminal act requiring some enforced restraint, and the others committing no criminal acts but exercising no personal restraint to their agenda to pleasures.
And yet, there are those who do not believe nor follow that "book" but who live by its tenets and practice personal responsibility who are positive examples of a belief that nurtures their children and brings levels of success, because they have a belief that is not solely self centered.
That is a genetic survival trait, to propagate their species. From an unrecognized genetic trait, these people follow a belief that enhances their tribal survival as a people.
And from them, to the strictest believers, a large variance of people in between, all follow the genetic trait that helps them choose responsibility over pleasure.
And, therein, we approach the matter of powerful people, governmental people, who use the psychologies to push agendas.
Everyday on this board, facets of the psychologies are discussed, notably the education system that promotes ideology and beliefs, detrimental to personal responsibility,
along with the many other tools a government uses to further its agenda.
Which gets us here discussing why each of us believe what we do. Interesting complicated.

The MAJOR issue I have with this video is that it was funded by someone. Yet no credits are given. It was well produced and cost a significant amount of money. Two, when referencing John Podesta's "Handkerchief". Only a small portion of the text is quoted. Just enough to make you think it was nefarious. Maybe it is. I looked up the term in various sources and I see no connections to handkerchiefs and pedophilia. Nor do I see a connection with Cheese Pizza. Again, I'm not in the "Know" on those subjects, but it seems suspicious that I can not find those references.

My goal is not to "Debunk" this video. It's to point out that this video should not be taken at face value. Each viewer should watch it, and research it for themselves. They should come to an educated conclusion.
It's like Christianity. Each person should read the Bible and develop their own relationship with God. They should not rely on what a preacher tells them. If you accept what "preachers" tell you then you'd give all of your money to Tammy Fay and Jim Baker, or Jimmy Swaggart, or Benny Hinn, or the dude on TV selling "Holy Water" that cures crack addiction.

I don't feel that there is any evidence that warrants it being investigated.

On this point we can agree. The media, movies, news papers have been coopted over time. They are as you say, attempting to manipulate all of us. I have no doubt about that. I'm just not exactly sure to what end. What is the ultimate goal? To keep us guessing I suppose.
I don't doubt that there are users on this very website who's intentions are to provoke chaos. And, I don't mean Democrat's and Republicans. The Chinese and Russians are most assuredly paying people to troll as many forums as possible. This is one of the reasons I don't use social media.
The great thing about humans is that we have the ability to see things differently, yet find commonality. That's the reason our country has a constitution.
I'm not saying that I understand it all. I certainly can't refute it all. And, I definitely don't know anything about the terms that those evil people use.

- Who is James Alefantis? Who is he connected to in DC? Is that logical? Would you expect it to be a common occurrence for 'a guy' to lease a couple of buildings in DC, mix a little flour and water, smear on some tomato paste, sprinkle on some cheese and then be in the circle that he is? Does it work that way in your community? It doesn't in mine.
- How about the Podesta brothers and their 'art'? Where does it come from? Who created it? What other projects have they done? Does it look like that art would have mass appeal and be worth a lot of money? How many other artists are out there that focus on this genre? Who else buys it?
- What was the true nature of Epstien - what did he really do in this world? Who is Bob Maxwell? Where did Bob's money come from and where did it go? How much money did Epstein have? Where did it go?
