New to the precision rifle game. I recently installed a MDT ESS Chassis on my Savage 110 tactical 6.5 creedmore and I am having some feeding issues. It will feed properly sometimes, but I’m having an issue where the tip of the bullet actually runs into the bottom of the barrel just past my feed ramp? Anyone with any experience with this?? I apologize for my nomenclature I’m just an old knuckle dragging trigger puller errah!

What mags?
Take a pic of the back of the magazine showing the rear of the cartridge.

I did have to file down the mag catch on the back of the magazine to fit the chassis, it’s a Pmag 7.62x51. I did order a different magazine from MDT to see if that will fix the issue.
