But the dovetail is in the middle, its not stacked

There is no reason that couldn’t be stacked. But a lot of reasons why the guy that did it is amazingly good with woodworking and spent a lot of time for the look.

I can not see how it can be stacked unless the joinery was on the top or bottom of the log, not the middle

“I was in the McDonald’s drive-through this morning and the young lady behind me leaned on her horn because I was taking too long to place my order.
“Take the high road,” I thought to myself So when I got to the first window I paid for her order along with my own.

The cashier must have told her what I'd done, because as we moved up she leaned out her window and waved to me and mouthed "Thank you.", obviously embarrassed that I had repaid her rudeness with a kindness.

When I got to the second window I showed them both receipts and took her food too.
Now she has to go back to the end of the line start all over.

Don't honk your horn at old people.”

Can’t even count the number of times I’ve drawn down on the ridgeline or draw waiting for the monster deer to pop up only to see that bushy tail.

I had my son out during a youth hunt MANY moons ago. We heard squirrels all day long. It was getting to about dusk and I turned around and saw a young deer no more than 10-12 feet from us. It came upon us without a sound. By the time I got my son's attention, the deer spooked and ran off.

I was walking quietly around a cutover about 15 years ago and heard what I assumed was a squirrel coming through the brush to my left. It was that cadence of leaves about once a second like a squirrel hopping along.

A doe burst out of the brush in a full boogie! It had been her running I heard making leaps about 15’ long in an all out sprint. She nearly knocked me down, missed me by a couple of feet.

I waited to see what was chasing her but whatever it was never appeared. It was either a buck, a yote or a samsqauantch.
