What do you rimfire people wish for Christmas?

Well I happen to be on here looking at threads when my wife asked once again, "Is there anything else you'd like for Christmas?"

I thought to myself, again, that I'd like to spend a weekend going through @Kisssofdeath gun safe's. Shooting many of his prize possessions and enjoying the weekend.

So the question is: What are you hoping for, rimfire or accessory wise for this Christmas. Whether or not you'll get it. We can all dream and hope.

Won't be on near as much this next week so I hope everyone of you have a Merry Christmas. I have really enjoyed the short time I have been a member here.

I wrote to Santa for a LH Vudoo, he said 14 weeks bud, but he did deliver a chassis and a scope for it already....

May Santa bring you everything on your list

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all.

An Arnold Machine 1 piece rest would be nice. Or 2 cases of Lapua Test Center ammo matched to my gun of course. Unfortunately Santa doesn't stop by my home. :(

i am thinking about taking the cheap red dot off my takedown lite and putting a real scope that doesn't need batteries.
what i would like is just knowing how much to spend and what to buy without over buying considering it isn't meant to shoot competition.

That's pretty good Texasrimfirenut.

I guess I'd like for the Ultimatum Deuce to come in sometime in January.

Been messing around with my AK's lately.

This is a Saiga I said I wasn't going to modify but the forearm I bought didn't fit what I had planned for it to, so I just put it on this Saiga tonight, it's not a permanent mod. The Bushnell Scout scope works really good.

This is my other Saiga. It isn't as accurate as the one above. Not because of the scope but it's simply not as accurate. IIRC it had around a 4" spread at 100 meters on the test target. The one above was around 3" or less. I don't recommend the Troy handguard. It gets too hot.
IMG_20201219_224809.jpg

This was my first AK, the Arsenal SAM7 SF.
IMG_20201219_224924.jpg

This was my first Norinco MAK 90. It has the milled receiver. A little on the ugly side with that stained wood. I thought about refinishing it. This one is said to have never been fired. According to the condition I received it in, I would tend to believe that. I have not fire this one.
IMG_20201219_225053.jpg

This was my second MAK 90. It has the stamped receiver and is noticeably lighter than the milled. It was also said to have been unfired. I've shot around 30 out of it.
IMG_20201219_225023.jpg

This is my third MAK 90. It also has a milled receiver. As you can see it's been modified with a buttsock and pistol grip. The original stock is not bad to shoot, not as bad as I thought it would be. The finish on these MAK90's are heads and tails above the rest. I'm referring to eye appeal, I'm sure it's no more durable than the Arsenal, Molot or Saiga.
IMG_20201219_225128.jpg

This was my first Molot VEPR. The wood was "ok" and the forearm wasn't straight. The buttstock angles didn't mate up nice with the receiver. I was going to send it back but the place said they didn't have anymore to replace it with so I kept it. I decided to heavily modify it because of these reasons.
IMG_20201219_224839.jpg

This is an unmodified Molot VEPR. This one is so nice and everything is near perfect with it. I'll never change this one. I've also never shot it.
IMG_20201219_225203.jpg

This is my sledgehammer. The Molot VEPR 12. I changed the recoil spring to be able to shoot low brass ammo. I also added a buffer to feel comfortable shooting 00 Buck and rifled slugs with the reduce recoil spring. It's actually fairly accurate with the rifled slugs. This one is unmodified.

I normally wouldn't post this, especially in the rimfire section but it's Christmas so with the heck. Nobody is really interested in AK's on here seems like so I don't talk about them much. All of these are 7.62x39 except the VEPR 12 or course, it being a 12 gauge.

Mr. KOD,

Alpha Kilo fan here.

MAK90 #1 in all of the ugliness and MAK90 #3. You have the "more desirable" units. Looking good.

I'd like my Howa 1100 to turn up,
Been waiting a year for it & have been told it should be here for Christmas.

If I was to dream it would be a Vudoo

I want more rimfire ammunition. Preferably quality match ammunition and a good plinking that goes bang every time a trigger is squeezed.

You can do your fingerprints yourself and save some time. Not going to save any money unless you plan on doing another form 1 down the line. I bought a finger print pad off of amazon and ordered the cards from the atf. I goofed (not fingerprints, didn't include all of the ser #)on my first form and had to redo it but I had to resubmit from the beginning, including new prints. Case in point, I saved money by doing it myself.

Well, for me I wish it was April 1,2021, that's the "target date" for the V22S I ordered last week. Not particularly fond of that date anyways, but it is what it is.

My KIDD Super Grade action/barrel has been gone since September. Had Tony Mele build a stock for it and FIVE WEEKS later it went to Joe Chacon for Bedding/Fitting 😲 Hoping to get it back this year!

1. New 99% sub moa barrel for my Quad.
2. Time and proper lighting conditions (I have not seen the sun as an object in few weeks) to lot test ammo for HK and Quad without flashlight setups. And it is freaking blowing at 5-6mph at minimum when I hit the range. But at least clear sky?
3. More snow (will bring light too)
4. My favourite silhuette range quite near me to open again. I like the view there.

Texasrimfirenut, those AK's were for you. I'll spread some more love tonight.

I just thought your were taunting me again with those pics. They were some beauties for sure. I need me one of those. All the guns I have, I do not have an AK and need to get me one.

I wish that CMMG would inform AR22 barrel manufacturers like Lothar Walther when they change the specs on their dedicated 22LR collars.
(( I just purchased a LW barrel that has a short chamber extension compared to the CMMG a dedicated 22LR collar. I put my upper together, took it to the range and had nothing but failure to fire because of light primer strikes. I know the conversion kit was working because it was originally a Bravo that worked perfectly. All I did was change the chamber adapter to a collar and swapped the 223 Wylde chambered barrel for the LW. The tech rep at LW told me all this. CMMG doesn’t answer their emails nor returns calls so I’m going with LW)
