Nothing funny or awesome about this. In fact I'm kinda worried I'll get banned for inciting violence, but I didn't know where to put it, and people need to see this shit... This is how they treat our nation's flag when cleaning up at the United States Capitol Building... Shameful.

When I was about 6 or 7, my brother, my dad and my grandpa visited my Great Grandpa in Northern MN. He had a driveway about 1/4 mile long and half of it was a pretty decent hill.

He had a Flexible Flyer sled, like shown below.

Four generations sledded on that hill for the better part of an afternoon.

Had a couple in different sizes growing up. We would polish the rails and wax them which would really let them fly downhill.

I still have the Flexible Flyer my dad had as a kid.

its well worn and we still use it when the conditions are good.

Most of our sledding is grass hills.
as a kid, they would block off the street and we would sled on the hardpack/ice combo.

I use a paper towel to pump diesel because the handles are always oily. I hate that smell on my hand.

I am down for 2 snows a year, opening day of deer season, and Christmas. I get sick of it pretty quick after that. A look out my front door..View attachment 7543943
I'm usually in Florida 6 months out of the year but I'm still in Ohio.
I sold my snow blower last year as well, I borrowed a plow what couple of times it did snow.
Purely out of being board

Woke up about 5am and the power was off. Got up, trudged out in the snow and cold and got gennie going.

Power comes on about the time I get back in. 😂
Had that happen a couple of times over the years while helping a friend or neighbor get theirs going.
Or half way through cleaning out the carb and the lights come on

I usually just turn on the gas fireplaces and relax. I don't drink coffee so no electricity is essential. The woman on the other hand, well........
