Broken firing Pin
It was dry fired a lot. Doing dry fire drills at home and practicing. That’s when it broke, doing dry fire drills. So not 100% sure what caused it.

is the pin still stuck in the bolt head? or did get side cocked some how?

will a stock firing replacement work? ....more for my curiosity.

I bought a Tubbs firing pin system for a 700. Used it for some time before it was rebarreled, blueprinted and trued. The smith said he had to shorten my firing pin or I could expect the same thing you had happen. Never heard of that before. Did you install a tubbs?
