No, I was going to take it to the gunsmith that built the rifle first but he's on extended holiday but if he was no help that's where I was going to head next.
The cocking action on my new rifle has always been really stiff. I just figured it was a characteristic of the gun but as I took the bolt out to do a little cleaning I noticed metal shavings and the below photos. I can't figure out what's causing it or why it happened. Any ideas?
Hey, limited gunsmithing knowledge here so talk to me like I'm a moron. I had a gun built by a local smith, surgeon sa and bottom metal mounted on a manners stock. When I first got the rifle the ai mag would fall right out and would hardly catch. I took a punch and pushed the tab on the magazine...
