Noveske and Armalite would be your two best options. They both offer barrels with intermediate gas systems.

I currently use the Syrac on my 308 AR 556 AR the design is great but I did have to machine the bottom of the gas block. It would touch the backing plate for the 6 O'clock rail segment on my Troy TRX. Seems to be common with Mid length gas systems and there 13 inch rails.

Re: 14.5 pinned barrel Yes or No The one thing I regret about having a pinned 14.5. I want to upgrade my rail system to the Noveske NSR but I have to destroy a YHM adapter for my can to do it.
