Reloading supplies in Columbus, Ohio
+1 on vance. I was out there last April 2013, pretty much the eye of the storm for not finding reloading supplies. I left there with an 8 pounder of 335 and 4k large pistol primers. They have a really nice shop as well...... I actually heard about the shop in Guns and Ammo magazine a few...- 281sohc

Guys with Mcree folder and Magpul MOE/CTR, how do you like this combo?
I had an old 24" 700p in a mcree chassis. Loved everything about it..... The stock, it adjustability and the fact it was a folder, just way to heavy for my taste. I have since replace the bbl'd action with a 20 inch aac sd and bout the AR folder adapter. Went with magpul MOE with 3/4" cheek...- 281sohc

McRee's Precision G5 TMAG folding stock??
I couldn't agree more. Started out with the standard folder w/ a 26" 700p. Rock solid and completely adjustable, just a bit heavy. I recently switched stocks out and went with the AR folder with an magpul moe and 3/4 inch cheek piece and put a 20" aac-sd barreled action in it. Saved...- 281sohc

Vietnam War M1A
Without knowing exactly what he had, it's for sure that he at least went thru basic training with a standard m14. Also, as stated above, I have no knowledge of a usmc m14 being scoped in Vietnam. My advice would be..... Buy a standard m1a from Springfield armory. Replace the Boyd's...- 281sohc

Service Rifle vs. SPR profile
While you are right on the money thing ORD, I think it goes without saying the Kriegers have proven to give a much higher round count without loss of accuracy as compared to most other barrels. Sometimes that extra 1500 rounds of x's or half min accuracy is worth the extra money. I'm only...- 281sohc

I feel your pain, well kinda. I was fortunate enuff to get the chance to spend some time behind a 14.5" before I made my decision to buy it........ It was an easy decision. It's weird to want something so bad, then 60rounds later you are glad you saved the money.- 281sohc
