    I have always wanted to see someone take 2 recievers, single point one to the same dimensions as the ptg tool, use the same barrel , chambered, threaded ect, screw it onto each receiver and shoot it a bunch,, come up with a statistical difference between the 2 methods,,,, just thinking out loud

    I shot the 168 berger classic hunter along side the 168 ablr, out of my 7saum, both right at 2950 fps muzzle with my magnetospeed. 600-700-800-800 yards the ablr shot an inch to a few inches flatter at every range, just my small sample size

    3. If you DON'T know what your doing you can give yourself a really nice broken nose AND ruin the barrel. i dont think i broke mine but it was awful bloody for a while,,,, there is no need to see how fast the barrel will spin when your 12 yrs old,,,,

    Gunsmithing 6.5x284 in 700 LOng action, feeding issues

    anyone know how to make a 6.5x284 feed out of a 700 long action,,,last round doesnt pop up far enough for bolt to catch rim,,,2nd and 3rd rounds feed pretty good, 3.160 oal for loaded round,,,,seems the loaded rounds rock front to back, i have tried a spring thats was stretched for more pressure,,,
