    Thanks for the explanation. Got it from optics planet and it says return within 30 days i will need to take it out somewhere I can see far. I live in a city and about 100-150 yards is all I can see without any obstruction.. maybe I should return it and start over... 45

    I looked at LRHS but that's a little out of my price range i took a look at Natchez weaver special and it looks good and actually might work for My intended use for this rifle I'm thinking and the price is pretty darn good!     The reason I'm looking at lower power model is because of the length of the scope. I'd like a compact scope that will go well with a overall length go the rifle and balance well. I'd like to stay around 12" and below but i can compromise with little bit over 13". 45

    Thanks for a quick reply. I'm looking between 3 -10-16 x fixed or variable with at least 40mm obj. Prefer 30mm tube. I like mil/mil and ffp. It will mostly be used for precision paper punching/steel gong and occasional hunting. I'm not sure if something exists in these specs 45
