I just use a 1' section of 1/2" wall Armaflex (pipe insulation) for 2" pipe. Like a pool "noodle" that slides over the forend and doesn't need any hardware. Great for ladders or poking through barricade holes, and thin so you get low. That and a Game Changer is all I use, simple is good.
To clarify- Close valve to house
Turn off power to pressure switch
Drain pressure tank
Replace pressure switch
Adjust air pressure in pressure tank to 2 psi less than cut-in pressure( 28 for 30-50 switch)...
Since many platforms don't have 10 round + mags. available, wouldn't it make more sense to just require everyone to do a mag. change on those stages with more than 10 round counts? Our 10/22 shooters have all gotten 15rd. mags, but the rest are digging out an extra mag. for those stages. Thoughts?
At Camp Perry tech. inspection, they would weigh it, pick up a 3lb. weight with the trigger, and tape the scope if you had a variable. I'm not sure if the plastic T1X stock will bend with some sling tension and throw off your shots when it contacts the barrel. I've had that problem with other...
Tikka T1X . Looks like you are describing CMP sporter rifle matches. It will be plenty accurate for that game. I don't use mine for CMP, I built a 10/22 for that purpose, and it's become my do-all 22.
Rifle in one hand, 5 gal. pail with screw on lid for all other gear. Waterproof, works as stool. Cut bottom 8"" off another pail and use it inside other pail as divider. Ammo, ear pro, data in 8", Bags, bipod, sling, in bottom. I may be a redneck.
Good advice from Tiger S. on the scope mounting position when shooting from other than a bench. When I buy a rifle, I get an extended Piccatiny rail that protrudes in front of the receiver ring, giving me the option of getting the scope far enough forward. Factory "drilled and tapped" bases...
We would like to use our regular guns, rather than a different rifle with odd(for us) sights. Better practice, especially for shooting from the wrong shoulder, which we all need work on. Everybody has a pic. rail, so we may find that we have to swap a different scope , but the basic rifle will...
Prefer something that doesn't make a mess to clean up, I do have 4x4s drilled for matchsticks, should sweep up easily. Your crew must be a little tougher than we are, didn't you get big snow?
