    Spotting scope recommendation; Vortex or Kowa?

    Kowa all the way. I’ve moved all my Swaro spotters to Kowa with exception for the little STC/ATC. I prefer that to the Kowa still. I’m so pleased with the glass I’ll be moving my 88S to step down to the 66S for weight savings. I don’t feel I’m giving anything up until the last 90 seconds or so.

    Backordered a couple for my AT-X 6 Dasher barrel. My AX mags with HRD kit feed well until the last 1 or 2 rounds. Been wanting something like this for a long time! GrayOps, Do a .223 mag next now that my .223 conversion is complete!

    Zeiss v6 elevation limitation

    I would choose the 3-18 over the 5-30. Mine has over 100 minutes of travel and is a much better hunting scope. I agree, two scopes for your situation may be the way to go.
