Is this case being sized correctly?

When resizing brass (once-fired Lapua 6.5 creedmoor,) a ring is present around the neck of the case approx 1/8" above the shoulder. The die (Redding FL,) is set up exactly as per Redding's instructions. Are these cases being resized correctly? They chamber in the rifle just fine. Am I missing...

AICS AX chassis for 6.5 Creedmoor?

Looking to buy an AX chassis in 6.5 CM, but it seems all being sold online are for .308, .300, .338, etc. Does AICS make one for the 700 clone with a 6.5 Creedmoor that will accompany this chassis? It looks like they don't even make a magazine for 6.5 CM for these. Am I incorrect?

L.e. wilson dies or forster dies

I spent the extra money and got the Benchrest Ultra Micrometer Die from Forster and it failed after 1 year. To give Forster a nod, they sent me new parts for it, but it always produced rounds that had no less than 5 thou of runout, even before the repair. I pulled my trusty old hand-me-down...

I bought the anvil and since creating this thread I have measured about 100 rounds with consistent results. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Measuring Consistent BTO using comparator - am I missing something?

This thread has not been answered fully yet. I guess everyone just uses OAL...which is inconsistent.

Measuring Consistent BTO using comparator - am I missing something?

When I measure BTO using a Hornady Comparator, (or Sinclair,) I measure the same loaded round 10 times and get 10 different measurements. Just the slightest variation in position leads to an inaccurate measurement. If I want to seat my bullet to X thousandths off the lands, how can I accomplish...

Is my Scott Parker tuned scale off?

This is what I am doing: I set the scale up and zero it out by turning the knob at the bottom. To verify the scale is accurate, I place the supplied check weight in the pan, and adjust the weights on the beam. The scale does not balance out at this point. I have to adjust the leveling knob...
