Does anyone know if ups or anyone will allow for a rifle to be shipped in just a locked pelican case. I'm having a really hard time finding cardboard boxes to fit a 1750 rifle case and i have no idea what to do Any info would greatly appreciated!!! Thanks
Hey guys, I have a good condition Smith and Corona 1903A3 that is nice, but it doesn't have the original stock and isn't a #'s matching piece. The barrel looks like it's seen better days and i was thinking about having Krieger change the barrel for me. I'm wondering if anyone has had this done...
Re: Is it the rifle? the scope? or the mounts? Try removing the upper from the lower, pull the bolt and carrier, set the rifle in a rest, and literally look down the bore and get the target centered to the opening at the end of the bore. That's where the bullet should go :-) Maybe an 1-2...
Re: 15" free float tubes, any experiences on those ? Precision reflex inc (PRI) makes a 15.3" i think, and its carbon fiber!!! I have one on my 20" with iron sights and it shoots perfectly fine. It has a little flex, but i think even the aluminum ones do at that length. It's feather weight...

Re: Correct O.A.L. or free bore question All of this sounds like very usable info :-))) Thanks!!! As far as VDL's go, why would I or wouldn't I want to use them? They sound like something that would make sense for greater distances I guess what it boils down to is if I were going to shoot a...
Re: Correct O.A.L. or free bore question Now, if you are shooting VLDs you are going to have a harder time based on their finicky nature in relation to seating depth. VLD???
Re: Correct O.A.L. or free bore question Maybe excessive wasn't the right choice of words. I'm a tool and die maker by trade and most things i've ever come across usually work better closer in tolerance than further. What i meant to say was that if factory Federal GMM is .040" away from my...
I just picked up a Hornady Lock n Load O.A.L. and am starting to go thru all of my chambers and figure out how far my lands are for all of my different loads. I started with my Kimber Advanced Tactical in .308 Winchester and found that my chamber allows a 175gr Federal GMM to "jump" about...
Re: SCAR 16S Review and pictures Not telling me anything I didn't already know :-) I've been lucky to have owned one for the last year. Other than that it was a nice read with good picks! Thanks and keep us updated since I haven't had a chance to do an accuracy test myself :-( John
