Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
This part should not impact anything during firing or dry fire. The firing pin shoulder should act as the stop when dry firing. The part that broke here is the cam that interacts with the bolt body cam slot: cocks the firing pin/striker when the bolt is opened. You can see the relationship...
On second look at the picture, it does look like debris, not part of the ejector. Is it still there after your second trip to the range? Maybe you can pry it off or remove it with a pick.
That is the back of the ejector, near where its pin is located. Behind this is the spring that powers it. If you look into the receiver and just behind the ejector where it is damaged, you should see the spring partially visible beneath and behind it. I you pull the barreled action out of...
I would pull the rifle out of the stock and remove the extractor in order to clean up the top portion of the rear of it. If it is causing binding on bolt open, something is wrong with it. Removing a little with a file could fix the problem, but a new ejector should as well. AG
I am pretty sure that MDT no longer inlets for the SPR/M70 action. Pitty because they have a lot of good chassis that would really make an SPR shine. They must not see the demand to do so. After all, we SPR Enthusiasts are about extinct.
The Winchester Model 70 Stealth is similar to an FN SPR in that they are meant to be "precision" rifles. The M70s lack the chrome lined barrel and accuracy enhancements such as lapped lugs and trued receiver of the FN SPRs. The MOA trigger is also different from the FN rifles although FN made...
The two-piece bases on the very early PBRs did not have a 20 MOA cant. If you want a new, one-piece base, MWGW has the titanium rail from the SPR-A3G for $52. That's a steal, titanium steel! (pun intended) It'll fit the PBRs. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/62558 Two feet low...
For the older FN103XX and the FG106XX you need the long spring #U356401670. For the newer FN202XX you would need the short spring #U356402100. MWGW looks like they have both in stock. I would also recommend ordering a couple of the firing pin spring retainers #U356432040 while you're at it...
True SPR-A5M and A5XP only came with fluted barrels. SPR-A1 and early A1a, A2 and A4 were available with non-fluted barrels. The primary difference in these models was the stock. The barreled actions were the same, regardless of fluting. There is a chance the the dealer has a rifle "built"...
No. I only have the one on the single rifle I own. Finding an aftermarket replacement is going to be impossible. Your only hope is to reach out to T/C.
