    I just use automatic transmission fluid. It’s cheap and it works. Doesn’t take too much. If you can feel oil on the parts, it probably means you have too much on it. And what’s the point of putting grease on the lugs? Serious question.

    That looks like the plug/spacer that goes in the channel opposite side of your bolt, where the bolt would close into for a left handed rifle. Just drop into the space and spring holds it in place against the action.
