I like the PRS but here a Mako something lighter. Rugged and still with nice adjustments...http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_bcESAdBZxAI/TAPfozPHAkI/AAAAAAAABNg/Hwu5BVW2HTc/s1600/Mako_Recoil_Reducing_AR-15_Stock_Cheek_Riser_40.JPG
Just look what any Barnes tsx even the little 62gr. Does to pigs, deer and black bears. On the old 55gr. There is one specially brutal that is the Norinco made. For whatever reason it always tumbles whatever speed or twist making a mess every single time. That is a true poison bullet for the...
Blasteraddict. you can start with a good ol' super sniper or a weaver tactical that will do a lot of things on a tight budget. But once you get to shoot a lot and understanding what a better scope (also more features) can do for you then after you experience some of those you will see why more...
What if this is not a troll and someone who really doesn't understand and wants to learn? We are being brutal. I think it can be explained unless the only purpose is trolling on a long range enthusiasts forum.
Why? some people see the scope as an investment. Specially those who like quality and reliability. Barrels, bullets they are consumables. A good scope with good glass stays for life.
One of the guys here at one of the clubs told me today he has an EBR2B on a winmag so I am going to give it a try. you will love the ebr3. That is a given. A lot of glass for the money.
Here at midway... Barnes Tipped Triple-Shock X Bullets 30 Cal (308 Diameter) 130 Grain Barnes Tipped Triple-Shock X Bullets 30 Cal (308 Diameter) 150 Grain For larger cases at closer distances or magnums at even at longer distances. Check twist and velocity on impact.. Barnes Tipped...
150 should be fine. The TTSX seems to start expansion a bit faster but then this changes from model to model. The TSX is lethal medicine even in the little 223 62g and 70gr tsx all the way to the largests 458 calibers. I don't like to say use this or this other one but what one has to do is to...
No. In general sectional density is a factor in penetration but with these bullet's design work best with speed. Let me explain.... Speed is achieved with lighter bullets and it helps the bullet behave to the maximum of its potential according to its intended terminal design that is to leave as...
You are right the whisper / blackout is primarily subsonic. One could probably improve the performance depending on the heavy bullet shapes but then this will require modified magazines so they decided to go with the easy route and keep fireball baseline, to keep std. magazines and keep it...
You actually have that round in a wildcat like many the other calibers it is a 30-223. This actually starts to look good from a ballistics out of the muzzle with 125gr-130gr bullets. The issue is that it becomes too long for decent bullets and then you also run into the magazine issue so you...
Any TSX in any caliber will do a number. the key is speed. The more speed you get the better they work. for the 308w a 130tsx works a lot better than the 150gr for that reason. the heavier ones should only be used in magnums. Again, speed kills.
