I learned about trajectory, windage, and holdover from a Red Ryder. Also, about ricochets from the steel beer cans we shot at after the adults drained them, having used a church key to open them.
I was counting clicks up on a Garand long before I used a scope that could be dialed. Even longer...
An over-run of short uppers that will fit both the AT-X and AT-XC would probably turn into a quickly sold out group buy. I'd be in for two. Raw would be fine, the rattle can doesn't need to know.
Having flown the 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7, with some MD-11 thrown in for good measure, I prefer the redundancy.
I'll wait for the 2 hour takeoff alternates for twins.
