    I just got the 1-5x24 XTR II with the Ballistic CQ Mil Illuminated reticle and I just love the scope. It's clear, bright and the turrets feel great.

    I remeber reading an article in the Complete Book of the AR15 (circa 2006~2007)by Robert Kolesar. He used an M16A2 with an ARMS #2 mount, weaver rings and a Burris 4X20 Compact scope in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was very happy with the equipment. I don't know if he is a "real operator".
