Rifle Scopes Premier has quit doing custom reticles

Re: Now that Premier has quit Yeah, Premier is new to the tactical scope game but are well known for bumps and reticle changes. For the OP Wasn't there a hide member selling bumps a few months ago? You may try a search, and as far as reticle changes as far as I know Leupold custom shop is...

Rifle Scopes Imminent purchase and I need user opinions.

Re: Imminent purchase and I need user opinions. I just got in from shooting 1105 yards with my new PH 5-25x56. All I can say is wow, it shot great, great clarity, great tracking, reticle was ideal. I've shot USOs but never at that range. Great scopes. You can't go wrong with either of...

    6.5 vs. 7.62

Re: 6.5 vs. 7.62 The only concern I have is terminal ballistics of the 6.5 v. the 308. Scenar and BTHP Match bullets seem to have less effective results than TAP or hunting rounds. I'm in the process of starting a 6.5x47Lapua build but I'm going to put some rounds into ballistic gelatin...

Rifle Scopes Laser Rangefinder w/ angle compensation

Re: Laser Rangefinder w/ angle compensation I own a Leupold RX-IV with the internal ballistic calculators for angle compensation. All in all not that impressed with range-finding capability. I have a hard time hitting anything past 300 yards with it. I also have a Nikon IRT scope, which...

Rifle Scopes Premier 5-25x, Prepaid Orders, Delivery Status

Re: Premier 5-25x, Prepaid Orders, Delivery Status I'm just excited that the pre-orders are finally getting filled. I really can't wait to get my scope. The check is nice but, even if they both came together my scope would be mounted and zeroed long before I made it to a bank to cash the check.

    Noreen .50 cal....any expereince?

Re: Noreen .50 cal....any expereince? Thats a negative on the positive extraction, all you need is a small rubber mallet. The stock is a sort of recoil reducing via springs on the buttstock. The rifle actually has less felt recoil than my 308. You feel the muzzle blast but virtually...

    Noreen .50 cal....any expereince?

Re: Noreen .50 cal....any expereince? I have a .416 made by Noreen. They are solidly made, Lilja barrel, timney trigger. I'm still playing with it to see what kind of accuracy I can get at longer ranges but out to 575 I've gotten 1/2 MOA. For the price you can't beat it.

Rifle Scopes Wanting a range finder... what about these?

Re: Wanting a range finder... what about these? I don't have any experience with either the Burris or Bushnell, but recently encountered a Nikon IRT, which looks just like those two, decent optic the only thing I don't like is the reticle, but I don't care for any of the reticles offered, the...

    Rifle Scopes HORUS VISION

Re: HORUS VISION Yes, you can use ballistic software to get your dope, most software programs allow the use of MILS (which i believe the Horus system uses) otherwise you will need to convert the result.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold,...? What's up?

Re: Leupold,...? What's up? I've seen metric Mark IV's, only in 4-14 though. I have a 6.5-20 mk IV and the only complaints are lack of bells and whistles (MIL/MIL, FFP), it functions good and glass is great. Also about $1000 less than a comparable scope with aforementioned features.

Fieldcraft Questions about USMC and Scout Snipers

Re: Questions about USMC and Scout Snipers I would say it is easier to become a sniper from the standard infantry. Easier to stick out, if you can hold a sub 6 minute mile pace for the full three and get up to 20 pull ups, you'll stand out enough that as long as you shoot expert you'll have...
