Took it out for some more testing. 42.0 gr H4350, shooting 140 ELD, only played with seating depths this time. 0.010 and 0.020 off the lands had 5 shot groups of about a third inch at those depths. Needless to say, I'm pretty happy. And no more light strikes either. Tempted to buy another Origin...

Shot mine both days this weekend too for load development and fireforming brass. Surprisingly, the light strike issue I was having didn't come back. Fired 100 rounds and all went off just fine. Might not send it back to Bighorn just yet then. Also, had many group that shot submoa, and a few...

The two set screws are on top of each other. I assume one is to lock the other.

Well, at the range right now doing load dev. For those that are going to file the bolt trigger contact area, do it minimally. I've had three light strikes / failures to fire out of my 50 shots today. Going to contact Bighorn for a new part tomorrow and just use the original sized part.

Going tomorrow morning to do my first round of load development on the Origin. 140 ELD, running 41.2 to 43.4 grains of H4350, 26 inch Kreiger from Keystone. I tested a go gauge today, no headspace issues on mine, although I had it shipped there directly from Bighorn for the barrel job back in...

Just how much the firing pin sticks out. But nope, it doesn't checked. What I noticed though was the "clicked" firing pin protrusion measurement kept reducing the more I filed, so in a way it was as if the measurement with the bolt closed was chasing the measurement of the "clicked" position...

This does NOT change firing position when the hammer drops, correct? Looking at the mechanism, I can't see how it would
