I was just installing a PST2.5x10 and had the same CCW cant. I shouldered with my left shoulder/left eye and it is canted the opposite direction. I am pretty sure that it is just the cant of my head.
The 22/45 (with a Pac-Lite upper) is my favorite but I do have a M&P22 that shoots just fine suppressed with all ammo that I have tried through it. I have a Pac-Lite upper on each of my kids pistols and they all love them.
I use a Horus in mine and know the drop. I know that isn't exactly what you are looking for but to me it is more versatile than the current 300BLK reticles.
Re: Optics for deploying soldier Personally, with the right training the ACOG is a great optic. You don't have to worry about flipping anything to get the magnification yet it can be used with both eyes open at close range with no issues. The Army used to issue the 552 Eotech, I believe...
Re: Streamlight Weapon Lights I have 2 of the TLR-2s and 3 of the TLR-1s, great lights and have held up just fine to everything I have done with them. I recommend them.
Re: School me on 338LM Factory Ammo So far I have used Corbon 300 gr SMK and the Lapua 300gr Scenar. The Lapua is about 100fps slower than the Corbon, both were sub-MOA in my rifle.
