    Help with matching sets

Alright crew, I was able to locate an MKM upper. It was advertised as Extended Rifle Length (14") but the seller has since contacted me saying it is a 12" rail with 13 slots so I know now it's Rifle Length. I don't have any concrete plans for this build, but I was hoping for some guidance. Any...

    Help with matching sets

Allow me to clarify. What I'm seeking is a manufacturer that makes an upper that is monolithic or 2 piece (e.g. Mega Arms MKM/Seekins SP3RV3) with a matching lower. Not to discredit the aforementioned examples, but I want the handguard, upper, and lower to match.

    Help with matching sets

I used to be more involved on this forum around 2011. I purchased a Mega Arms billet lower 4-5 years ago thinking that I would eventually get the MKM extended rifle length upper to match. Now I'm starting to get interested again and I see that Mega Arms has been bought out and my beloved upper...

what do you use to kill tree rats

I used a .177 Gamo Whisper air rifle to shoot a raccoon out of a tree and it only gave a few death kicks before it subsided. I don't ever worry about whether the bullet is a hollow point or round nose for small game. Just use the most accurate ammunition in your gun and know your limits.

    455 Question

This might belong in the Suppressor subforum, but I'll try here first. I can't make up my mind between buying a factory threaded CZ 455 (#02114) or the non-threaded (#02113). It makes more sense, economically, to buy the threaded 455 rather than pay ~$80 for a gunsmith to do it later. Factory...

    Gotta Love ARMSLIST Scammers

All the scammer would have to do is create a listing in February and then edit the post with your pics down the road. I'm not impressed.

    Made the decision

The 260 will utilize the same primers as the 308. If you didn't know, you can use the 308 brass to form 260.

Build help - free float handguard

I chose the rifle length gas system because it's supposed to be a softer impulse when recoiling. The adjustable gas block isn't necessary, but if I can reduce the amount of gas and junk flowing into my receiver, then I can decrease the number of necessary cleanings. Not that I neglect my guns...

Build help - free float handguard

There are several quality free float rails on the market, but if you want versatility, then you might want to consider a keymod style handguard. A longer rail will increase the sight distance between your iron sights and should, in theory, help increase accuracy. I have the same barrel you do...

Rifle Scopes I'm pissed about the parallax on my new LRHS!

My offer extends to anyone that is unhappy with their LRHS, granted that it is in similar condition to my LRS....new.

Rifle Scopes I'm pissed about the parallax on my new LRHS!

I'd be willing to trade my 3-12 LRS for a LRHS. I'll even throw in a set of Seekins low rings. Problem solved.

Need Suggestions on DBM for Remmy 700 5r Milspec - stock

If you think there is a chance you might sell the HS stock down the road then I would opt for a true drop in system. My 5R is spec'd similarily to yours, but I always keep resale value in mind before making upgrades.

Any Body Deal With Valhala Tactical Supply In North Liberty, IA

Never heard of them either. I can't imagine that whatever you're looking for can't be found at Rainier Arms, PSA, or Brownells.

The Seekins MCSR V2 rail is 1.8''. Mega Arms MKM is 1.545''.

    First rifle wants...

I'd check your local hunting regs before picking a caliber. Here in Iowa we can't use anything smaller than 6mm/24 caliber for deer. A 223 would be suitable for coyotes and small cats, but I'd want something bigger for hogs and cougars....you know, the stuff that can kill you.
