    I am just assuming you are spotting for yourself and trying to make corrections on what you are seeing thru the rifle scope. As a shooter new to 1000 it is very easy to over correct on what you think you saw. Mike

    Catastrophic Failure

    A lot of people keep suggesting that the rifle may have been chambered for 300wm. I'm of the opinion it would be very difficult to enough primer strike force to fire the round. Another thought if it was a 300wm chamber and 308 win case the primer would of been off center. Mike
