    What is the twist rate of your barrel, and what is the 175 suggested minimum twist rate? That would be the first thing i would look. Might be losing to much speed.

    Atmospheric pressure is the same inside your case as out side when you force down on the case your creating extra pressure thus causing air to force out. This is better then hearing it suck air in.

    RCBS Customer service! A+

    So recently ordered a rcbs hand priming tool. Tool didnt work because the safety gate assembly was to short. Called rcbs and they are sending the right gate assembly free of charge. Its hard to find good customer service these days. Thumbs up to these guys. Will def be buying more rcbs gear.

    Got mine from buds guns online it was just under 1100 and the threaded was just over 1100 but not by more then $50.

    Took her out and shot her. Used some 180gr federals from academy (needed the brass for hand loads) and didnt do to bad. First shot low = cold bore.     New 5r has a stamp in the action were the bolt handle locks down when bolt is closed. Its a square with a bunch of dots. Havent ever noticed this befor how long have they been doin this. Gun I bought last year a rem 700 also has it just never noticed it cause its matte blued.

    So to crack at it. 5mins had her whooped into shape! Used an old points file( used for points on a distrubter cap for you non auto mechanics) well a broken piece of one anyhow, that and some 220 grit emory cloth. Bolt moves great and cant even snag a patch on it! Thanks to all for ideas and...
