    90gr of h1000 and the barnes 280gr lrx are around 2800fps. out of a savage 110 fcp. had two cases stick in the chamber. is 90gr close enough to give me over pressure?

    I've done some looking and most of the problem is with hornady brass. It's a little too soft. Riflehas 50 rds down the tube, the first 3/4 of the bolt lift is easy, last 1/4 not good. Tried very mild reloads, 280gr Barnes lrx, 88 gr of h1000. Stillsticks80% of thetime. Same with black...

    Im leaning toward the QD phantom. How much harder is it gonna be on the gun without an adj gas block? How much faster is she gonna dirty up? Like gotta clean it every 20rds? With it being overgassed will it affect the reliability?
