Hello All, I got a very nice Christmas bonus and have decided to spoil myself for a change in my life. I am looking to buy the Sightron SIII in the 8 x 32 for shooting 600-1000 yards. I am a little confused by all the options, what do you all recommend? If there is a better scope available...

Re: Please Help Thanks for all the advice everyone, I do trim every other loading but it could be the head space, I have the gauge on order so we will see if that resolves the issue.

I have not been hand loading long but have read several manuals and everything I could find here on the net. Up until now I have only loaded hunting rounds (168 gr Accubonds)for my 300 WSM at a COAL of 2.89" and have not had any issues. I decided I wanted to start loading some target rounds...

I remember reading in several pots about aiming and shooting with both eyes open. What is the purpose of this? I find it very difficult for me to do this, I am able to see more clearly when my non shooting eye is closed.

Re: Bedding Job - Release Agent removal? I bedded my action over Thanksgiving weekend, I was not prepared for the release agent to be difficult to remove. I tried goo gone and it worked like a dream.

Re: Accessory Question that is a little different than what I saw, they guys who had them also had rear bags that they were using. I was thinking it might have something to do with adding weight to the stock thus reducing recoil in some way.
